JNU Dalit scholar ends his life in Delhi

           

                                                                                                                                                             

Muthukrishnan a 28 year old Dalit PhD scholar of Delhi's University  yesterday was founded hanging from a ceiling fan at his friend's apartment in Delhi's Munirka area. 

He was an active member of the justice for Rohith Vemula movement. He was a native of Salem in Tamil Nadu.

Police said he died due to depression and he had written a post on his Facebook account 3 days back  where he said about "No equality" in M.Phil and PhD admissions.
