Weeks ahead of coming admissions season of the 2017-18, The University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) put a list on their websites of 23 unrecognized universities and 279 unrecognized technical institutes which are working against provisions of the UGC Act,1956. UGC warned the students not to apply in those universities and collages.
